SCORE Small Business Resource Guide for Businesses in Spokane, North Idaho, Eastern and Central Washington. In addition to local, regional and national contacts, the guide includes a starting a business checklist, helpful articles, business planning and legal information, resources, and how and where to go to get a business loan and what your need to have. Your local SBA - Serving Washington AND North Idaho - Locations, area Resource and Lending Partners. The SBA office has recently downsized, and may not always be open during regular business hours. It is a good idea to call before you go downtown. Most information is now available online.

 The Spokane Public Library is a quick and reliable way to get answers to your business related questions.  Rather than spending valuable time trying to track down information, turn that task over to the information professionals and keep your focus on making your business efficient and profitable.

Greater Spokane Incorporated - A united force for economic development, it is a collaboration of the former Spokane Area Chamber of Commerce and Spokane Economic Development Council

  • BIZStreet Small Business Program, connects you to other businesses, drives initiatives that support the small business climate, and advocates for small business-friendly policies.
  • Eastern Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) assists businesses across an eleven county area in securing federal, state and local government contracts. The Department of Defense supports this resource, with major funding provided by Greater Spokane Incorporated. The Eastern Washington PTAC provides support to regional businesses in marketing and selling to federal, state and local government agencies and prime contractors. We also assist agencies, departments and primes in their efforts to comply with federal and state procurement diversity goals. Our service area covers the counties of Adams, Asotin, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Stevens, Spokane, Walla Walla and Whitman.

Idaho Small Business Solutions has all the information you need on doing business in the State of Idaho, forms, Agency contacts, tax, licensing, and insurance information, and where the resources in the state are located.

The Idaho Small Business Development Center offers a wealth of free and low-cost services including free counseling and low-cost workshops.
